Children's Home Society
Founded in 1889, Children's Home Society and Family Services is a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization that serves children, individuals and families. The organization offers international child welfare projects that include educational scholarships and supplies, as well as support for the victims of violence and abandonment. It serves more than 35,000 children and families annually. Children's Home Society and Family Services is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. The organization publishes magazines, including Today's Child & Family and Heart to Home. It provides anger management, financial and home ownership education, and individual and family counseling services. In addition, the organization offers early childhood education programs.
