Cardigan Donuts opened May of 2017 in the downtown Minneapolis skyway.

Specialties

Cardigan Donuts creates fresh, hand made donuts created on-site in downtown Minneapolis. Also available are made-to-order yogurt and oatmeal bowls with fresh toppings and ingredients. Blackeye Roasting Co cold brew and Prohibition Kombucha are on tap, as well as offerings from a full upscale coffee bar. Open seating in our living room as well as our workspace is available.

This Cardigan Donuts is on the second floor of the IDS building, near the escalator. There are no tables or seating at this location, though you can go down to the main floor of the IDS building...

Great service. I tried their most popular donut but found it overly sweet - more icing than I like. The donut itself had a good base and was a little crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
