Christ United Methodist Church is a large church located in downtown Rochester, across from the Mayo Clinic. Our three Sunday worship services provide relevant, inspiring worship for children, youth and all ages of adults. The 8: 00 prayer and communion service in the Chapel. It is intimate and informal. The 9: 00 service is our traditional worships service in the Sanctuary. Vocal and handbell choirs as well as organ and piano music help us to praise God through music. The 11: 00 emergent worship service is held in the Education Conference Center ( ECC ) and is a high interactive worship service that changes styles from weeks to week. People of all ages attend Sunday School from 10: 10-11: 00 and childcare is available at all worship services though we welcome children at all of our worship services. On Wednesdays in the school year we have a contemporary media worship service at 6: 15 in the ECC. Each week small groups gather in our church for service, growth and fellowship.
