Students attending Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Alternative High School have the opportunity to do what it takes to ensure they receive the necessary credits to accomplish their goal of attaining a high school diploma.
The students who populate the alternative high school's halls include those who have dropped out of their previous school and are in the 10th grade or higher. Their past credits easily transfer to the BES Alternative High School, and they are provided with a highly enriched education.
Aside from being evaluated on attendance, work completed and participation, students also receive a weekly progress report.
Also, one of the school's goals is to make sure that students are offered a wide array of choices and alternatives to stimulate them and keep them involved.
