The Special Education Office is a part of Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools. The office provides special education and related services for students up to the age of 22 who qualify under eligibility criteria established by the state of Minnesota. It serves children with mental, physical, hearing, visual and learning disabilities. The Special Education Office also offers services for students suffering with autism and emotional and behavioral disorders. Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools operates more than 10 elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools provide classes in English, math, science, social studies, physical education, and family and consumer science. Its schools media centers offer printed and online materials.
