Blaine City Hall has various divisions, including city council, administration, public services and finance departments. Its city council comprises six members and the mayor; and has commissions and committees, such as historical society, charter commission, natural resource conservation, planning commission and senior advisory. Its administration department is presided over by city manager and executive assistant, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city government. Blaine City Hall also has a community development department that provides commercial and industrial services, including single family and multifamily residential developments. The department also offers services in marketing of properties. Its public services department undertakes the physical and economic development of the city, and comprises building inspections, engineering, parks and recreation, planning and public works divisions. Its finance department provides accounting and internal auditing services for all financial activities of the city. The city hall is located in Blaine, Minn.
