Dr. Nalezny (formerly Pajak) has worked with parrots and reptiles for over 16 years. In her experience, many problems that exotic animals encounter are related to husbandry and stress and are difficult to assess in a traditional clinical setting. By visiting the patient and guardian's home, Dr. Nalezny is able to appreciate the life and health of her patients more completely and also decrease the stress that some exotic animals may endure during transportation or in leaving their preferred environments.
