Arrowhead Regional Development Commission is a county agency that provides a variety of services to local units of government and community-based groups in the Arrowhead region and has an office in Duluth, Minn. It coordinates funding for programs that serve seniors and caregivers. ARDC houses the Byways Resource Center, a nationwide program that advances the management of scenic and historic byways. It supports the Capital Improvement Planning Department that provides a tool for the community to identify and prioritize infrastructure, funding needs and opportunities. It also acts as a census repository for northeast Minnesota. The agency provides professional planning and development services to meet housing, environmental, economic and human needs. Arrowhead Regional Development Commission assists the community in conducting housing studies and preparing grant applications for housing issues.
