CONUS Communications established in 1984, dedicated to helping television stations nation and worldwide, gather and share news via satellite. Conus One KU satellite truck was the first addition to the the conus fleet. By 1989, the truck division was operating 5 trucks. In 2002 Conus closed and ARCTEK Satellite Productions, LLC was born. Brian Stanley along with 2 partners continued the innovative tradition as ARCTEK was one of the first mobile uplink companies to put the Sprinter uplink truck online. They also presented the first 2.4 meter C-band Sprinter uplink to the market in 2006.
