History
ARC was founded in the Christian ecumenical tradition run by an on-site intentional community of volunteers. Over time, ARC has become inter-spiritual in nature both regards to the current on-site community and retreat guests. In the mid-90's the Cottage and Hermitage were added for individuals seeking time away.
Specialties
ARC offers a quiet and reflective atmosphere for individuals and groups to slow down the pace of life, restore balance, and deepen relationships with self, others and the Divine/God/Spirit/Universal Energy. Our intentional community of volunteers is here to welcome you home, to nourish your mind, body and soul with quiet contemplation, homemade vegetarian meals and valued conversations. Our facilities include a log lodge (sleeps 15-18 guests), hermitage (space for 1), and cottage (sleeps 2-6). While you're here, walk our trails, meditate in the labyrinth, meet with others, take a nap in our sunny library, meditate with the community, enjoy the birds and wildlife by the creek, and just feel free to be as you already are.
