The Income Maintenance Department provides programs and quality services that support the dignity and self-sufficiency of residents in Anoka County, Minn. The department offers a variety of cash programs for individuals and families that include Diversionary Work Program, Minnesota Family Investment Program and Minnesota Supplemental Aid. The Income Maintenance Department s child support program helps children in obtaining financial, medical and child care supports. It also offers a range of emergency and food support programs. Additionally, the department provides funeral funds, medical programs and housing referral assistance. The Income Maintenance Department is administered by the Department of Human Services.
