Duluth Adult Learning Center offers educational opportunities for youths and adults aged 16 and above who are not enrolled in any other formal education program. The center s program teaches skills that are usually learned by the time a student graduates from high school. Duluth Adult Learning Center provides classes and one-on-one tutoring to improve basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics. It offers training that meets the basic requirements for graduation, as well as has a limited selection of elective subjects. The center s EXCEL program serves student in kindergarten through grade eight assists students in improving their academic skills and getting along in school.
