Community Involvement Programs, founded in 1971, is a nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis, and serves individuals throughout Pine and Mille Lacs counties in Minnesota. It provides services and support to persons with developmental disabilities and their families and to individuals with mental illness. The organization offers a range of residential options for adults who have developmental disabilities. It additionally provides mental health support services for individuals above the age of 18 who have a serious and persistent mental illness and are in need of specialized housing and supportive services. It also provides assistance to individuals with a variety of disabilities in finding and maintaining employment at businesses in their communities.
