The American Camping Association is an authority that offers a range of child and youth development services. It is a community of camp professionals that provides a variety of education and learning opportunities. The association accredits more than 2,300 camps. The American Camping Association has over 7,000 members. It maintains a camp knowledge center that offers food, transportation, program design and risk management solutions. The association publishes Camping Magazine, as well as conducts conferences. The American Camping Association also operates a book store. It works in collaboration with youth, religious and camp organizations, such as the National Joint Powers Alliance and Payment Processing Consultants.
