History
The property originally owned by Lansing's Olds family, was donated to the Association in the mid 1960s. Generations of dedicated nature enthusiasts have worked hard to preserve this land for the education and enjoyment of Lansing area residents.
Specialties
The Woldumar Nature Association is a private nonprofit organization with a mission to educate people about the natural environment. We fulfill this mission by hosting field study for area schools, educational summer camps, and programs for the general public. To help raise funds to support our mission efforts, the grounds and facilities are rented out for private events - particularly weddings, but also birthday parties, holiday parties, showers, and other social gatherings. The 180+ acres of natural area and 5+ trails found thereon are made available for respectful use by the general public to hike, explore, and enjoy nature from dawn to dusk. A $2 trail fee is requested at the trailhead. Photographers may acquire a permit for portrait or commercial photo shoots.
