Originally a graphic designer, Carole Bodin now spends her days filling custom orders for pioneer-era clothing, which she sews by hand daily in her downtown Rochester shop.
"I love to sew," says Carole, who has sewn outfits for men, women and children for numerous local festivals and events, including one-room schoolhouse events and the Rochester Heritage Festival. William's Creek also carries a small selection of American Girl doll items that includes custom-made clothing and furniture.
Thanks to the internet, Carole says she rarely has a slow day and regularly fills orders from across the country that have been placed on her website. William's Creek is located in the lower level of the Rochester Avon Recreational Authority building on Second Street in downtown Rochester.
