West Shore Cardiology is a center for diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Based in Muskegon, Mich., it offers an array of services, such as stress testing, nuclear medicine cardiac imaging, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty/stent, holter monitor, event monitor and enhanced external counterpulsation. The center conducts Graded Exercise Test (GXT) helps to evaluate the blood supply to the heart. Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) is a noninvasive treatment for patients with angina and heart failure, which helps to improve perfusion in the areas of the heart deprived of adequate blood supply.
