Catholic Central High School
Catholic Central High School, founded in 1906 and located in Grand Rapids, Mich., offers classes to students in grades nine through 12. It offers a wide range of subjects, such as French, English, religion, creative writing, media studies, literature, mathematics, science, industrial and information technology, social studies and American history, business studies, health, and fine and performing arts and physical education. Its sports activities include football, soccer, basketball, golf, tennis, swimming and diving, skiing, bowling, wrestling, gymnastics, rugby, lacrosse, softball, and track and field. The school offers various clubs, such as language, arts, debate, earth, band, quiz, and science Olympiad and peer ministry, and a choir. The school also provides counseling sessions, health care, meal and transportation services to students. It has a parent-teacher association and a student council that assists in various school activities and programs.
