Founded in 1989, Wee Folk Rockford Child Center is an early childhood program for children and is accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children. It works to provide a safe and healthy environment for children. The center also works to promote development in areas, such as fine and gross motor, cognitive, social skills and language. Wee Folk Rockford Child Center is state-certified for child care subsidy for low-income families. It accepts children between six weeks and 12 years of age, as well as offers nutritional meals and snacks daily. The center additionally supports a developmental learning program for infants and toddlers and a summer program for school-age children. Wee Folk Rockford Child Center organizes several Field trips and provides transportation services.
