Waverly High School serves more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. The high school has a career and technology education department that offers introductory and advanced courses in Internet research and Web design, journalism, yearbook production, newspaper production, computer applications and media production. It conducts classes in social studies, science, health, English, special services, math, arts, world languages, cooking and business. The high school works with the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Waverly High School has many clubs representing the diverse cultures. The school also provides data projectors, video production equipment, scanners, camcorders, digital cameras, printers, overheads and copying services. Waverly High School is owned and operated by the Waverly Community Schools and is located in Lansing, Mich.
