Formed in 1996, AIDS Partnership Michigan is a resource for information and referral about HIV/AIDS. It offers a variety of services and programs and is funded through public money, grants, fundraising activities and gifts from individuals and organizations. The organization provides HIV Counseling and Testing (OraSure and Rapid Testing System) to people. It also has a Re-Entry Program which focuses on assisting men and women who are HIV+ and who are either currently incarcerated or have been released within three months. Behavioral Health Services carried by this organization offers free counseling and therapy services to any individual who is diagnosed with HIV.
