History
Founder Guido Capaldi, a service-disabled veteran, was honored in 2000 as Creator of the Year in Crain's Detroit Business, in 2002 with the Technology Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan and the DaVinci Award, which recognizes the most innovative developments in adaptive and assistive technologies to help people overcome physical limitations. His current lift products use the same innovative processes that were acknowledged by the industry as ground-breaking. He not only brought an affordable electric patient lift to the market but one that can be used by a single caregiver for a safe patient transfer, which is an important alternative to the floor-based Hoyer Lift product.
