History
After an extremely successful capital campaign in 2018, The GhostLight Theatre began renovations on an old industrial building in the Benton Harbor Arts District. We opened our doors in June 2019 with a sold-out two-weekend run of Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County. On June 29th, we hosted Jason Robert Brown, the Broadway composer of that show, live in concert in our new theater! The rest of our summer season included two-weekend runs of No Exit, Clybourne Park, and Urinetown The Musical. We also ran a two-week performing arts camp, collaborated with the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra on West Side Story performed at the Pavilion at Silver Beach to packed audiences, and are planning a busy and fun-filled fall and winter, with productions, workshops, movies, lectures, events of all sorts.
