St. James Episcopal Church has been working with the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center, a nonprofit ministry, to encourage the nonviolent transformation of conflict in relationships in homes, work places, schools, churches and throughout the world. The church offers workshops on spiritual renewal and growth and also holds youth group activities. A nursery is available during the Sunday service. St. James Episcopal Church is located near downtown Dexter.
