Nestled in 14 wooded acres in Saline, the Saline District Library was recently expanded and is now a 33,000-square-foot building housing more than 95,000 books, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks, newspapers and magazines. The library also offers usage of computers, Internet access and online databases. Programs include story hours, summer reading, craft workshops, book discussions groups, lectures and more. The library features the Saline History room for local history buffs and also exhibits art throughout the year.

This is a beautiful library. I really enjoy my visits here, and stop by at least once a week. There is a flower garden on each side of the walkway, tended by the Saline Stone & Thistle Garden...

Between the take-home crafts, quality of computer games, toys, and book options, my kids and I always enjoy ourselves here. We come here for educational entertainment on an almost weekly basis!

Dexter District Library

Dexter District Library is one of the village's newest facilities and caters to residents of all ages. Its mission is to be a community hub for residents to check out print, audio and electronic media. It also boasts several community outreach programs throughout the year. The library is also home to the Friends of the Dexter District Library, which was organized in 1957 and is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the library.
