HistoryTrailhead was built by Patrick Ellis Kelly in 2010 with his business Kelly Excavating, Construction & Redi Mix. Pat Kelly with the help of his wonderful girlfriend of eight years, Missy! HI! Began the business with baby steps originally opening with a coke cooler for beers and pop, a table for a bar and a little plastic cash register, while campers literally camped in MUD but loved it! With the help of friends and patrons, like the Drummond Island Off Road Adventures Jeep group and Steve Walker, a resident- Trailhead began to grow. Pat poured the u shaped bar from concrete 2011, curtains were added in fall 2013, a stage in 2014 and so on. Previous campers from our first year still brag up the first year MUD mess.SpecialtiesTrailhead is the ideal location for Off Road trail riding on Drummond's 117 miles of looped trails. It's Drummond Island's Off Road Headquarters centrally located on the island with modern camping facility including bathrooms & showers. The on site Restaurant & Bar offers delicious food at a great price and cold drinks.
