We invest with the intent of supporting our companies throughout their life cycle across multiple financings. We are actively investing from our second fund and are seeking to invest approximately $5 to $7 million over the life of a company, with an initial investment ranging from $1 to $3 million. Our investment professionals have decades of experience within healthcare and entrepreneurial companies as a resource for our companies to draw upon. In addition, our advisory board is comprised of experts in the healthcare field; include the past and current CEOs of two of the largest medical device companies, Medtronic and Guidant. We have the resources and expertise to help our portfolio companies achieve success. We provide assistance to our portfolio companies by leveraging our relationships with industry leaders, academic centers of excellence, finance partners, and entrepreneurs.
