North Country Community Mental Health provides a variety of programs and services to people suffering form mental disturbances. It specializes in providing a wide range of behavioral health services, and serves Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Kalkaska and Otsego counties in Michigan. Founded in 2003, the agency was formed by the merger of Northern Michigan Community Mental Health and Antrim Kalkaska Community Mental Health. It also serves as the Medicaid prepaid health plan for the Northern Affiliation, a group of three mental health boards, including Northeast Michigan, AuSable Valley, and North Country Community Mental Health. The agency s services include adult counseling and therapy, and community support and treatment for people with developmental disabilities.
