MICR Graphics' business grew through acquisition of other area printing companies, starting with the purchase of Blais Printing in 1994. In 1998, MICR purchased Billy the Printer and moved their operations into Billy's building. At that time, the business faced the dilemma of what name to use for the company. Whether to use the name of the parent company, MICR Graphics Printing, or to use Billy the Printer, which had great name recognition for the general public in West Michigan. It was decided to keep both names and both are still being used today. The company continued to acquire other print shops by purchasing Montague Graphic Arts & Printing in 2000, Davan Printing of Grand Haven in 2001, and Lee Printing of Muskegon in 2006. This blending of companies has given us a wealth of experienced people and diverse equipment to handle your printing needs.
