HistoryTrident Realty's roots go back to July 2, 1993 when Steve Alkema purchased a three-unit home on Vine Street in Kalamazoo. From that first purchase the company has grown and diversified. In the beginning, Trident just purchased and managed its own homes. It grew to become Trident Management Group, LLC in January 1997 when it added third party property management services. In 2001, Trident Reality, Inc was officially formed as the umbrella company for all of the separate entities. Throughout that time the company continued to acquire and redevelop several apartment buildings and complexes.
