Carman-Ainsworth High School offers individual academic programs to students in grades nine through 12 and students acquire competencies in career planning and exploration, knowledge of self and others, and educational and career technical development. The school has a career and guidance department and offers a library media program to provide learners with equitable access to information and ideas and to provide training in locating, evaluating and using these resources. The school encourages the students to participate in various sport programs, such as cross country, swimming, softball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf, hockey, powerlifting, cheerleading, skiing and soccer. The various clubs and organizations for the students include science Olympiad, the National Honor Society, robotic team and literacy foundation. Carman-Ainsworth High School is located in Flint, Mich.
