The Lutheran Heritage Foundation was established on Nov. 10, 1992, by Rev. Dr. Robert Rahn. The foundation, which strives to provide the most accurate translations of Lutheran literature available, employs more than 300 people around the world to work as translators, reviewers, editors, general linguists and theological specialists. In addition to translating Lutheran literature, the foundation also publishes and distributes it at no cost to pastors, seminary students, missionaries and churches. Since its establishment, the foundation has published and distributed more than 450 titles and 3 million Lutheran books in 80 countries and 90 languages. The foundation encourages donations to help continue its work, and representatives are available to give presentations for churches wishing to learn more about the foundation and its works.
