East Kentwood Freshman Campus is located in Kentwood, Mich., and is a part of the East Kentwood High School campus, designed to address the specific needs of ninth grade students. It shares staff and programs with the grade 10 through 12 classes and provides a nurturing environment where students from Kentwood's three middle schools, Crestwood, Pinewood and Valleywood, merge together, form their own identity and launch their high school career. Students are academically challenged and stimulated as they adjust to the rigor, challenges and opportunities of high school. In addition to core subjects, its students receive instruction in four foreign language choices, art, business, life management, health and physical education, band and orchestra and choir. Its students have access to comprehensive interscholastic sport competition.
