Dr. Jackalyn Govier graduated cum laude from Albion College with a bachelor of arts in biology. She went on to receive her degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. Govier served as an intern with an emphasis on family medicine at the Commmunity Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater and then served as chief resident in family medicine at the same institution. She has served as a family medicine physician at Family Practice and Orthopedic Care Center in Coldwater; at Lakeshore Medical Center in Whitehall; Union City Medical Center in Union City; and Three Rivers Health Family Care at White Pigeon. Govier is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She joined Oaklawn Medical Group in July 2015.
