The Livonia Department of Parks & Recreation offers community services through parks and recreational activities. It encourages community participation through innovative programs and recreation facilities in the city of Livonia, Mich. The department offers a variety of athletic programs and recreational activities for men, women, boys and girls. In addition, Livonia Department of Parks & Recreation hosts youth and adult sports and athletic programs. Jon Grant Community Center

Named in memory of long-time Farmington Hills city council member Jon Grant, this spacious community center provides meeting, party and banquet facilities for the area. The busy hub hosts community classes, meetings and other activities and can be rented for birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, family gatherings and more. Visit the website for a rental application. The center can also host theme parties featuring movies, table games, classic games and crafts on Saturdays and Sundays for up to 20 children. It is operated by the city's special services department.
