GroutLikeNew is a Southeast Michigan owned and operated business. Owner / Operator David Schmier first saw the color sealing process in person on his family's commercial real estate projects. After a year of market research and product testing he was convinced grout color sealing was a service much needed in Southeast Michigan. He opened GroutLikeNew in 2012 and his instincts were correct. Based on its reputation for quality and value, GroutLikeNew has grown quickly to become Michigan's premier color sealing company. As an independent contractor rather than a franchise, GroutLikeNew was able to choose the best materials and methodologies available, while avoiding costly monthly franchise fees. Those savings are passed along to the customer, allowing us to provide the highest quality products and services at a still affordable price.

It seems as though you are hearing it everywhere these days: Color seal your grout. Color sealing your grout may be a recent innovation, but it is certainly not just a fad. Quality color sealers repel oil and water-based liquids, which will prevent food and beverage stains. In addition, they contain constant acting mildewcides and other agents that inhibit the growth of bacteria and mildew. This not only offers health benefits by making your floors more sanitary, but can reduce or eliminate the funky smells you often find with older floors that have had a long time to absorb a variety of odiferous liquids.
