Established in 1957, Gene Butman Ford was the second dealership to open in the city of Ypsilanti. Named for its founder, Gene Butman Ford has remained a family-owned business with Ken Butman following his father as President in 1980. The dealership moved from Pearl Street to Washtenaw Avenue in 1965, and completely remodeled in 2002. Gene Butman Ford employs 80 individuals, and offers a full line of cars, trucks and utilities. They have a complete state of the art service department as well as a well stocked parts department and body shop.
