History

Freedom Work opportunities was started 1983 by Harry and Beverley Weeks to create jobs for people with special needs. Over the last 30+ years we have done all kinds of different things. We started out by making indestructible furniture for group homes. Later on we had jobs cleaning hotels, cutting lawns, shoveling snow, delivering food for meals on wheels. About eight years ago we thought to open up a resale store, that idea took off like wild fire and now here we are Freedom Treasures we currently have 3 stores. Waterford, Grand Blanc and now Highland.
