HistoryFred Borchers opened the Frame and Mat Shop in 1970, combining two decades of wood finishing experience at Story & Clark Piano with his keen eye for design. The family-run business would lay roots in West Michigan, with many of Fred's children ultimately opening custom framing shops of their own. Today, Dan Borchers carries on the family tradition in Grand Haven and Holland. At the Shop, every customer's treasure is recognized as invaluable, because what comes through our doors always comes with a story.
