Established in 1984, the Senior Meals on Wheels Program serves more than 5,600 senior citizens of Kent County in Michigan every year. The organization supports the Homebound Meal Program, which serves over 1,800 senior citizens a day and delivers nutritionally balanced meals. One-third of the allocated federal nutritional allowance is spent daily on such meals. The Senior Meals on Wheels Program offers individual health assessment services.
