Jackson Community College has been operational for more than 75 years. Founded as Jackson Junior College, it is one of the leading providers of secondary education in the United States. The college enrolls more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. Jackson Community College provides vocational training, work force and community development classes, contract education programs, advanced computer and science centers, and several cultural and recreational activities.
