Founded in 1928, The Flint Institute of Arts is a museum that caters to more than 120,000 adults and children annually from all over southeast Michigan. Based in Flint, Mich., it offers various programs, such as exhibitions, interpretive programs, film screenings, concerts, lectures, family events as well as educational outreach programs. The institute is accredited by the American Association of Museums. The Flint Institute of Arts operates on a facility of about 150,000 square feet.
