Flat Rock Metal is a niche steel processor that specializes in critical surface coil processing. Its processes include flat polishing/sheet blanking, cut-to-length/multi-blanking, critical exposed slitting, and inspection and coil mapping. The company was incorporated in 1981 and has grown to become the largest flat polisher of carbon steel in North America. Flat Rock has headquarters in Flat Rock, Mich. All of Flat Rock's plants operate solely as processors and are not involved in metal sales or distribution.
