HistoryFrank and Barbara Agius began Frank's Key & Lock as a part time endeavor in 1965 in addition to custom cabinets. Eventually the lockshop became a full-time business. Today we have two service vehicles and a retail location on Washington Avenue in Alpena (M-32).SpecialtiesFrank's Key & Lock offers mobile service which includes rekeying, installation, and fitting keys to locks. We are a factory direct Horton Automatics dealer and sell & service all types of automatic doors. We also perform automotive & residential openings during business hours. Our retail location on Washington Avenue offers key cutting, rekeying, safe work, hardware sales, hollow metal doors & frames, architectural wood doors, and cutting/programming of automotive keys. If you have a newer vehicle and only have one key, our diagnostic machine allows us to add a second, third or fourth key to the vehicle when onboard programming is not available. We also sell a vast array of quality knives, cutlery and outdoor gear.
