History
This little vegan donut company was founded during the pandemic. Ferndale Project had a daily drive-through market where people could grab Ashe Coffee, breakfast, produce, and whatever they needed during the height of COVID. Lauren, our original pastry chef, started making vegan donuts--and they sold out every day. We knew we were on to something, so we started brainstorming what we could call this venture. We eventually landed on Dooped Donuts because they're so good, you wouldn't know they're vegan.

Dooped Donuts make imaginative 100% vegan donuts in the heart of Detroit. In addition to donuts, our cafe features coffee and espresso drinks freshly roasted in our space from Ashe Coffee! Every donut is made by hand--from cutting to frying to decorating, our small-but-mighty women-led team makes over 1400 donuts fresh each week. And with fresh new flavor themes and combinations dropping bi-weekly, you never know what you'll fall in love with next!
