In 1989 David Cherba founded DMC Unlimited as a subsidiary of Digital Machine Control, Inc The business was located in Ludington's Industrial Park on Conrad Industrial Drive between 1st Street & 6th Street. Primarily focused on providing computer services to local businesses, DMC Unlimited grew quickly. By 1996 DMC Unlimited was Digital Machine Control's main focus. In 1999 DMC Unlimited was sold to Kim Larson who maintained the company's focus of providing computer products and services to the local community. In late 2002, DMC Unlimited moved to a new location at 65 S. Jebavy Dr. This location provided a much more accessible store front for DMC's customers. In March of 2003 DMC Unlimited was purchased by Roger & Jamie Wertz. Roger had been an employee of DMC Unlimited for three years under the ownership of Kim Larson. The Wertz's greatly enjoy working in the field of computer service and look forward to serving the community for years to come. In September of 2008, DMC Unlimited purchased the Russ Miller Studio building on Tinkham avenue. This new facility provides DMC with twice the square footage of the previous building. Today DMC Unlimited is still providing much needed computer products and services to the local community. Supplying computer service and support to hundreds of local businesses and individuals, DMC Unlimited is steadily growing. Employing a staff of four, DMC is able to meet the technology demands of the expanding community.
