Established in 1909, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries is a Christian, faith-based charitable organization, accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. It offers various programs and services to the helpless, disadvantaged, abused and homeless men, women and children of the community. Its community services include clothing assistance, prepared meals, emergency shelter, food and household furnishings, facility rental and retreat services, and veterans independence program, a transitional housing program for homeless veterans.
