The Capital Area Health Alliance (CAHA) is a regional hub in Lansing, MI, dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and providing access to affordable, quality healthcare resources. As a collaborative platform, CAHA brings together various organizations and sectors to address healthcare system trends, regional needs, and opportunities for improvement. By connecting healthcare providers with community-level organizations, CAHA supports innovative approaches to improve the overall health of the community and offers resources and educational opportunities to employers, businesses, and residents. Ingham County Health Equity Council (HEC), a part of CAHA, is actively seeking mini-grant applicants to address COVID-19-related inequities and risk factors among Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities within Ingham County. The council aims to fund 12-15 mini-grants, totaling $125,000, to expand capacity and services for preventing and controlling COVID-19 among high-risk and underserved populations. Grant recipients will implement their proposed objectives between December 15, 2022, and May 31, 2023.
