John Young Middle School offers education to students from grades six through eight and operates under the School City of Mishawaka. The school district supervises 10 school including elementary and high schools in the Mishawaka area. It offers a variety of academic classes, including English, math, science, social science, physical education, health, computer technology and arts. The school also offers special programs for physically challenged and hearing impaired students. The school facility includes a media center, a library and a cafeteria, and offers transportation facilities to students.
