Beach Middle School is a coeducational institution that offers academic services to students in grades seven and eight. Located in Chelsea, Mich., it is a part of the Chelsea School District, which operates more than five elementary, middle and high schools with a combined enrollment of over 2,500 students. The school provides coaching and training in a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, cross-country, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. Beach Middle School maintains a Science Olympiad team, jazz band, fiddle club and yearbook group. It conducts educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, math, social studies, science, English, computer applications, art, music, and health and physical education.
